Needs Assessment and Site Survey:
- Conduct a detailed needs assessment in collaboration with the university's management to determine the specific lighting requirements across the campus.
- Perform a site survey to identify the most strategic and effective locations for street light installation, focusing on high-traffic areas such as walkways, parking lots, roads, and key campus zones.
Design and Planning:
- Design a comprehensive lighting layout that ensures optimal illumination and coverage across the campus, balancing aesthetics with functionality.
- Plan the installation process, ensuring minimal disruption to campus activities and a seamless integration of the lighting system into the existing infrastructure.
Procurement of Materials:
- Source and procure high-quality street lighting materials, including LED lights, poles, electrical wiring, and control systems, from reliable suppliers.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications set by the university and are durable enough to withstand outdoor conditions.
Installation Services:
- Conduct the installation of street lights, which includes erecting poles, wiring LED lights, and integrating control systems for automated on/off switching and energy-saving measures.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during installation to prevent any hazards or disruptions on campus.
Electrical Connections and Testing:
- Connect the street lights to the campus electrical grid or, in the case of solar street lights, install and configure solar panels and battery systems.
- Test the system to ensure proper functioning, including checking light intensity, controlling system settings, and ensuring that all areas receive adequate lighting.
System Calibration and Commissioning:
- Calibrate the control systems to optimize the timing, brightness, and energy efficiency of the street lights.
- Commission the system in the presence of university management, ensuring all lights are operational and performing as expected.
Training and Handover:
- Provide training to university staff or maintenance personnel on the operation and maintenance of the street lighting system.
- Hand over all necessary documentation, including warranties, user manuals, and a detailed maintenance schedule for future upkeep.
- After-Sales Support and Maintenance:
- Offer ongoing support, including troubleshooting and repair services if any issues arise after installation.
- Provide regular maintenance services, such as cleaning and inspecting the lighting system to ensure long-term performance.
